This magnificent cave house is in the village of La Canalosa, 40 mintues by car from Alicante airport and the stunning beaches of the Costa Blanca.
The villages of Hondon de las Nieves and Hondon de los Frailes are 10 minutes away. Nestled in a small valley in the Vinalopo Mitja region, the backdrop is the magnificent Crevillente mountains, 837 metres high and covered with pine trees. The rural landscape consists of Olive and Almond trees, vineyards and orange groves. The area is perfect for walking, cycling, mountain biking, motorcycle touring or just relaxing. A magnificent property in a mountain location but still just 40 minutes by car from the coast and airport.
The cavehouse is situated in a pretty courtyard surrounded by landscaped gardens with numerous variety of cacti and trees including fig, banana, almond and olive. The pool area is to the rear of the property accessed via a pathway and steps and has stunning mountain views.
The property consists of
Four bedrooms:- Two double and two single - sleeping a maximum of six people.
A large bathroom with shower, basin, bidet and toilet.
The lounge/dining room has been furnished to a high standard with seating and dining facilities for 6 people. Off the lounge is a snug area with open fire and a dissused bread oven.
The full kitchen includes gas cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and both fitted and freestanding units.
There is satellite television providing English channels, a DVD player, numerous board games, books and a games room/bar with dartboard.
Outdoors there is a swimming pool (10 x 5 metres) which is fully enclosed with gated access for exclusive use by guests and occasional use by the property owners. There are plenty of outdoor terraces, sunbeds, tables and chairs and a large BBQ.
Also available is a laundry room with washing machine.
The owners live in an adjacent property and can be available to provide a welcome BBQ and farewell Paella night by request (additional charge).

Rates quoted are for a maximum of 6 guests. A 25% deposit is required to secure the booking. The balance, together with a refundable £250 security and damage deposit, is payable 8 weeks prior to occupation.
May we point out that whilst every effort is made to ensure that the property and its contents are safe for your use, we cannot be responsible for any accidental injury or for the supervision of children and minors, especially in relation to use of the pool.
Rental periods are from Saturday to Saturday, with arrival not before 3 pm and departure by 11 am, unless by prior agreement.
