'Villa Dasa' - Spacious detached two storey villa with sea, country and castle views. Well proportioned accommodation for ten people with ensuite bathroom to the main bedroom. A dining terrace leads from the dual aspect living-dining room with steps to the large decking area surrounding the swimming pool. The garden is established with exotic shrubs and trees which is approached by driveway. A peaceful location with easy access to beaches and towns. Villa Dasa is furnished and equipped to a very good standard and was completed in 2004. |

Glass doors to full width covered terrace with barbecue and dining furniture. There are sea and country views from the living room and terrace.
Fitted Kitchen – spacious and well equipped with dishwasher, oven, hob and fridge/freezer.

Three bathrooms plus guest cloakroom- one bathroom is ensuite to the main double bedroom.
Garden: Steps lead from the covered terrace to the swimming pool area which can also be approached at ground level. The private pool is a good size [approx. 8x4m] and has decking surround. There is also a lawned area.
This is a very comfortable spacious and well furnished/equipped villa in a prime location close to amenities and beach.

Tennis and horse riding- 10mins drive.
Beach activities, snorkelling, diving- 10min drive.
The beaches in this region are superb. All sandy with blue flags and mostly a shallow entrance making it safe for little ones. There is rarely overcrowding as there is such a choice of beaches and some are relatively unknown by tourists. This area attracts many spaniards from Barcelona and other parts of Spain, many of whom have holiday homes here.
Go-karting for kids and adults-10mins drive.
Water park- 20mins drive.
Zoo- 10mins drive
Golf- many golf courses within 10-20 mins drive. The house manual gives details of all the courses in the local vicinity.
Sailing- 10mins drive. There is a sailing club at Sa Riera and kayaks and pedallos for hire. Kayaks also at Calella.
Cultural activities- all over the region:
Figueres- Dali's museum- 40mins drive
Medieval towns- 15-20 mins drive- Peratallada- a must to visit.
Restaurants- too numerous to mention. Begur has a very good choice as do the coastal villages. The house manual has previous guests' comments on local restaurants.
Shops- an interesting selection of very good shops selling clothes, jewellery, etc.
Food- excellent speciality shops in Begur for fish and meat plus very good supermarkets.
- bikes can be hired in Palafrugell
Walking- this is wonderful walking country, especially out of season when it is not so hot. The tourist office has a map showing popular walks.
Skiing- within 3 hours you can be on the slopes in Andorra.
Night life- plenty if you want it but there is not a string of discos here. Mainly late night cellar bars with music, some with dancing. There is a club in Begur and one just outside, not far from the villa but well away from everything and everyone!
The main square has entertainment in the high season with a mixture of traditional and modern music and dancing. Wonderful to just sit and watch!
