Piedras Brillantes villa is located in a small village about 8 miles from the coast, slightly away from the main tourist area. The nearest resort is Mojacar, in the South East corner of Spain in the province of Almeria.

Casa Piedras Brillantes is situated in a small Spanish village with lovely views. It is surrounded on one side by an orange orchard, behind there is a small field, on the other side a hillock and in front a quiet road through the village.
It was completed in 2002 and is furnished to a high standard.
Three of the bedrooms and two bathrooms are downstairs and one is up in the tower.
The accommodation comprises:
Lounge – with open fireplace, stairs to tower
Dining area – with triple patio doors to outside dining courtyard
Kitchen - with door to dining courtyard
Utility room – across the courtyard from the kitchen
Through arch in main room to:
Bedroom 1 – with single bed and patio doors to pool. Fitted wardrobe
Shower room – with toilet and washbasin
Bedroom 2 – with twin beds, patio doors to pool and fitted wardrobe
Bathroom – with bath, washbasin, bidet and toilet
Bedroom 3 – with twin beds and fitted wardrobes
Bedroom 4 – Upstairs in the tower. King-size bed, ensuite bathroom with bath, washbasin, toilet and bidet. Door to roof terrace.
The villa is fully furnished and equipped to accommodate seven people - detailed inventory of each room is available if required for information.
There is a TV set in the lounge and heating/cooling unit.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas hob and electric oven and microwave oven. There is a fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The washing machine is in the utility room.
Each bedroom has a fan. The windows have insect blinds.

Restaurants – The area abounds with good, inexpensive restaurants where you can choose to eat outside, inside and at almost any time of day. Lunchtime is from 1.00 pm to 5.00pm and dinner is usually from 8.00pm until the last customer leaves.
Nijar – a delightful artisan mountain village with a wide selection of ceramica and woven rugs.
Bedar – a typical Spanish whitewashed mountain village. Treat yourself to a meal at the Miramar.
Mojacar Town - a very picturesque white painted hilltop town with many interesting corners.
Garrucha - a small seaside town with fish market, beach, excellent fish restaurants and a large market (Fridays).
Cabo de Gata – a wild area of Natural park where many species of birds can be seen.
Tabernas – where ‘spaghetti westerns’ and Lawrence of Arabia were filmed. You can visit the film–set town of Little Hollywood or Yucca City.
Granada and the Alhambra – about two hours drive to the Alhambra
Nevada Mountains – about the same distance as Granada. Usually snow all the year round.
Ski-ing in the winter.
Caves of Almanzora – old cave dwellings. Worth a visit.
Bowling – At Cabrera.
