This luxury apartment sleep 4 with a twin bedded bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. It is tastefully furnished with pine units, marbled floors, satellite TV, CD system, fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine, full size bath and shower and a furnished patio area. This development is designed around beautiful walkways and gardens with an abundance of flowers - a peaceful location with no through traffic making it ideal for children. It has 2 large open-air swimming pools surrounded by gardens, one with pool bar, one with restaurant/bar, a children’s play area, indoor heated pool, tennis courts and a small fitness suite with sauna/jacuzzi. |

Almeria is an area steeped in Andalucian tradition - Pueblo Laguna is close to the historic villages of Mojacar, Garrucha, Turre, Vera and Los Gallardos, many of which have weekly markets to visit. The fishing village of Garrucha, with its many restaurants, bars, shops and a weekly market, is a lovely twenty minute stroll along the promenade from the apartments. You can relax in one of the many fresh fish restaurants and watch the local fishermen as they arrive with their daily catch. Boat and fishing trips are available from the port.
Just along the coast from Garrucha is Mojacar Beach where you will find more wide, sandy beaches, some with watersports, and a wide selection of restaurants, bars and shops. A drive up into the mountains brings you to the typically Andalucian Mojacar Village - a picturesque village with its narrow streets and architecture reflecting the Moorish influence over the centuries. There are shops selling antiques and jewellery, numerous restaurants and tapas bars. Many other towns and villages are well worth a drive through the stunning mountain scenery.
Almost the entire coast between Mojacar and Almeria is covered by the Cabo de Gata National Park - an extensive area of sand dunes, wetlands and salt marshes - an excellent place for nature lovers and so unspoilt.
Within a short distance of the apartments you will find the new Vera Beach Club offering a variety of watersports; an Aqua Park - a great day out for all the family; tennis, go-karting, boat/fishing trips; horse riding; microlight flights; cycle hire and the Caves of Sorbas. The Alhambra Palace in Granada or Mini-Hollywood (a wild-west town deep in the mountains) are both well worth a visit. There are a number of golf courses within a short drive of the apartments - Marina de la Torre, Cortijo Grande, Desert Springs - Europe’s first desert golf course and the newly opened Valle del Este.
