| Brief description: |
312 El Marques Palace is a spacious, sunny, light-filled apartment, which sleeps up to 4 people.
The modern building was completed in the year 2000 and there are only 64 apartments in total in the two small blocks which form El Marques Palace.
|
| Full description: |
The apartment has two bedrooms (one with king size bed, one with two single beds) and two bathrooms so both bedrooms are ensuite.
From the master bedroom you can step through the georgian style glass door to balcony for a breath of fresh morning sea air.
The kitchen is fully fitted plus washing machine and microwave. The owners were very impressed to find that the kitchen equipment even included a fruit juicer! The apartment does have air conditioning but, as patio doors fill one wall of the lounge/dining room flooding the room with light and air, the owners haven't had cause to use it.
The elegant blonde wood dining table and chairs make for sophisticated dining inside or there is a table and chairs set on the wide balcony for more al fresco meals.
|
| Facilities: |
At the end of a busy day: sunbathing on one of the balcony loungers or by one of the two heated swimming pools on site, chasing the squash ball around the court, pumping iron in the gymn or playing tennis or bowls.
You can sit back and relax in the comfort of the squishy, royal blue suite and catch up on Sky news or one of the other channels available (the owners daughter discovered a channel showing slushy films and was hooked!). That's if you can drag yourself away from the live entertainment in one of the restaurants at either El Marques Palace or El Marques (next door). |
| Additional
information: |
312 is privately owned by a couple who visited Los Gigantes in February 2002 and simply fell in love with the tranquillity of the area. The relaxed life-style and friendliness of the people in the village simply drew them in.
This is a totally different atmosphere to ultra-busy Las Americas with none of the brash hustle and bustle. There isn't even a through road. |
| Local
activities: |
There's something for everyone during the day.
Sporting enthusiasts can enjoy all of the above within El Marques Palace itself but slightly further afield there is, golf on glorious courses, hiking in the hills or down the twisting cliff path to Masca Bay (Heidi's Hikes), boat trips from little Los Gigantes harbour to visit the whales and dolphins which are to be found playing a little further out to sea.
For the adventurous there are excursions to majestic Mount Teide in the centre of the island or trips to the mysterious island of La Gomera (listen out for the famous whistling language!)
